ASEAN Serenade celebrates the region’s rich musical heritage.
Be soothed by the music of the 10 ASEAN nations – Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam – some of which have been arranged by Cultural Medallion recipient Alex Abisheganden for full guitar orchestra and small groups. ASEAN Serenade will also feature vocals, dance and ethnic instruments besides the guitars.
The concert will be performed by Toa Payoh Guitar Club, GENUS (NUS), Gamelan Asmaradana, Paya Lebar MGS, Siglap Nusantara Orchestra (Siglap Secondary School), Harps Unlimited, Omar Abu Bakar, Ernest Kwok, Yudi Kwok, Marcus Loh, Kelvin Loh, Special Guest Erick Guansing, Friends from ASEAN countries, and many others.....
