GENUS 2009: Guitar Harmonie Saturday, 6 June 2009, 8pm
This year, look forward to a whole new concert experience with Genus 2009 - Guitar Harmonie! This coming June's concert promises to be a huge affair involving a special collaboration with the Jugend Musik Schule Pforzheim Guitar-Ensemble (JMSPGE) from Germany. The JMSPGE was founded in 1997 by accomplished professor Mr Artur Merkel, and comprises of many nation-wide prize-winners at German’s most prestigious competition “Jugend Musiziert”. Expect anything from soothing classicals to passionate tangos as GENUS and JMSPGE put together for you the guitar concert of a lifetime.

Guitars In Harmonie
In conjunction with the Guitar Harmonie concert, GENUS is also proud to present Guitars In Harmonie workshops for the public. We are pleased to collaborate with JMSPGE to conduct workshops for guitar ensembles in schools to raise the performance level from a foreign perspective of musical techniques and interpretations.
